Only Quote for one customer

Hello,

Sorry for my english i’m french.

I would like for one customer to block the possibility for my sales administration to entry an order. I want for this customer that they realise only quote. It is possible via setup?

There is option on customer card for Blocking the customer but this will block all the transaction

You need to customize the same

Hi Frederic,

You could try setting up this customer with a posting group that is not configured in the posting setup. It’s hardly an elegant solution but it might meet your requirement.

I try your solution but i’m not blocked. I create a new posting group without setup, i affect him on my customer but i can create my order.

You have to customize the same.

I’ve just tested on my demo system and the order is not prevented from being raised, only prevents you from posting an invoice. Sorry about that. I’m thinking maybe something with approvals might stop a sales order being released but, as Amol says, if you actually want to stop a sales order being created it looks like you need customisation.
