One Year with Microsoft Business Solutions

It’s now over 1 year since Microsoft took over Navision A/S and added it to Microsoft Busienss Solutions. How do YOU think the company, the future of the products, the support, the marketing ect. is now compared to one year ago? Please vote and comment.

Hi Erik, Surely one of the best polls the site had, weighing your options before casting my vote. Regards

I would tick for: O Still the same sh*t. But point 3 is a good one as well…

I tried to tick 2,3 and 5 and it didn’t work. [;)] Can we have “All of the above option”.

I cannot really say that I’ve noticed any other change than the name>>> Navision would have done more changes than what MS has done… With Navision we had personal contacts. With MS we don’t!>>>it takes even longer to get the response from them!

Great!

We’ve had ongoing performance issues with our database. Before Navision would say it was a SQL problem. Microsoft would say it was a Navision problem. Now we are working with Microsoft/Navision and our NSC as a team to fix the problems. It’s been very positive for us. Cheers

And what does Microsoft/Navision now say? It’s a NSC problem[:D]?

for the new market in asia, it is very bad as navision will not be aggressive in this market anymore. Look at Greatplains as an example, greatplains has been stopped (no more investment) in china market after acquired by microsoft. Microsoft probably thinks they have greatplain in American market. They have navision in European market. End up both softwares cannot land on Asia market (particular China market). Compare another product scala, similar to navision, it is coming from Europe. But the software had issued its own chinese version long time ago. You can tell what’s different behind.

Microsoft is never competing with the prices of prevaling competetors in India. dshekar2002@yahoo.com

I think, cooperation between M$ and Navision is good, Navision gained all technological knowledges provided by M$. But I agree with others,
