Object Table

Would it not be sweet if it was possible to put code behind OnInsert() OnModifiy() OnDelete() OnRename() On the Object (currently virtual!) table. It would really help tracking who has modified what and when. ###### tarek_demiati@ureach.com

You can modify records in Object table. You can: modify name, version list, date, modified, etc. Best regards from BCN

Augustin : I’m aware that from C/AL code that you can INSERT, MODIFY or DELETE record in the Object Table. What I was talking about was the possiblity of putting C/AL code behind these triggers for this particular table so you could log all modification details regarding each object Type into a separate table (ie : Object Changes Log) That would be handy to know which user has modified what and when … ###### tarek_demiati@ureach.comEdited by - Tarek Demiati on 2002 Jul 07 00:41:24

Hi, To serve this purpose, Navision came up with ‘Change Log’ option in Navision Attain 3.60 Version. You can define & maintain Log for ‘Insertion/Modification/Deletion’ on the Tables data. Check out GL Setup–>Change Log Setup in NA 3.60 Beta1 version. Regards
