Not able to close production order

Hello all,

I am not able to close the production order. Here is the error message i get:

  1. "Production order: XXXXXX
  2. Calculating BOM consumption
  3. Financial updating quantity must have same sign in the posting unit and the inventory unit.
  4. No financial data is being updated in the inventory unit.
  5. Update has been canceled."

What do i check and what should i look for?

I already did a research online and it looks like some people have the same issue. Their recommendation was to make sure that purchase unit or inventory unit hasn’t been changed.

have you checked your production bom and pick lists to see if anything is wrong there ?

What is the status of your lines and BOM item transactions?

You cannot change the inventory unit when there exists transaction, Purchase unit is irrelavant here.

Check with your transactions…

Hi Kranthi - There is only one line and the status is reported as finished and Remain status is ENDED
