I would like to know if it is possible to set up a non-nettable inventory location, and if so, how to do this. By “non-nettable,” I mean that I want a location that tracks the actual contents, but that the contents of this location are not considered in the planning process (i.e. are considered to be zero for the purposes of fulfilling demand). I have at least two uses for this at the moment: - quality quarantine area and - goods that are on loan to a customer for demonstration purposes. I wondered if there was some sort of setting or field on the location setup part of the warehouse function, but I do not see one. Any pointers or suggestions?
