We have purchased a new printer. How do I introduce it into NAV. My version is 2009R2
First I will move it from the DUG Membership Questions forum, to the NAV technical forum.
And what do you mean by “introducing” it? Install and set it up as any printer. Then select it when printing.
Are you using classic or RTC?
My IT installed a new printer on our server yesterday, I can see it in my control panel but he said I need to “introduce it” or add it into Nav. When I sign into NAV I can’t see the new printer to choose it to print.
The Printer does not need to be introduced anywhere… Dynamics NAV 2009 and above uses windows printer drivers… So if you cannot see the printer driver on your windows machine - then you need to add it within windows.
