Dear all; I need help for production in Axapta 3.0. Thanks! 1. A company purchases and stores steel tube in pieces and consumes them in meters in the BOM. How is the setup performed in order to control the BOM consumption? A. The unit chosen on the BOM line must be the stock unit B. The unit chosen on the BOM line must be the purchase unit C. The unit chosen on the BOM line could be any unit D. The unit chosen on the BOM line must have a conversion factor defined

BOM unit is the unit which is used in the production. For purchase and to stock you can set unit as pcs but in item master - reference tab page - BOM - bom unit mention meter. for item conversion pcs and meter relation is to be given. Hope this helps and works.
