Navision Reports

Hi, I am relatively new to Navision. I am not sure exactly how easy it is to create your own reports or change existing reports using the object designer tool. If anybody has got any good suggestions where I can get some useful info on how to do this I would be very grateful. I was looking for the ‘Application Designer’s Guide’, as it says in the help this will tell me how to use the object designer. I have managed to create new reports based on 1 table, but i am struggling to join information between 2 tables. For example, Customer details relating to their invoice details. Thanks, Craig

The best ways to learn how it works are: * Attend a programmers course * Look at the available reports and try to understand how they work.

And if you run into a problem, try searching on this site… There are a lot of posts about report designing. Success!

Yes, and I’m not getting tired to link you to David’s “Learning Dynamics NAV - Introduction” topic: http://www.mbsonline.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16258 check this topic out and follow it. It will definitely take you some time, but without knowledge of the table structure you will not really achieve what you need.
