Navision Crashing on email PDF creation

The Issue

When invoicing

we hit the print button - The outcome is an email with the PDF invoice attached.

The problem is ever 2 or 3 time this crashes Navision and leaves no option but to restart.

This is happening on 8 PC now, any help would be muchly appreciated.

We have over 100 users but only the 8 that invoice have this issue.

Running Dynamics Nav Ver (5.00)

Win Server 2003

Microsoft Outlook 2007 & 2010

Using Amyuni PDF Converter 4 & 4.5 (get the same results from both)

The clients are Win7 64 and 32

Have you tried to compile all objects on the clients system which are facing issue? If possible it can be issue of automation used. Let me know if this solves this issue.

Do you have onsite Exchange email or Hosted? We have hosted email with Nav 2009 and have the same issue. The issue with email though is more so to do with not releasing the connection quick enough as it opens a connection to the exchange server for each invoice to be sent. I believe there is a fix for this though in the Nav 2009 R2 release.

Whilst we have many problems using the amyuni driver and sending emails, we also have problems with just printing when doing large invoice runs which then crashes Nav. I would prefer to resolve this issue first, so would be keen to discuss further if you have similar issues?
