Hello you all, I am a student from Germany and right now working on my diploma with the topic „e-business with Navision Attain and MS BizTalk Server“. Unfortunately, I´m not too much into the technical aspects, but this is what I achieved until now: I have two computers connected in a lan which each represent independent systems. Both of them being windows2000 server domain controllers, each of them represents an own domain. On each Windows Server there is BizTalk Server 2002 and the Navision Client (+ NAS, CG, database server) 3.60 DE running. My aim is to implement b2b document transfer, which already works in a simple way. Orders, quotes, e.g. can be sent and received to and from the Navision clients. By “simple way”, I mean that if one of the computers is down, the transfer doesn´t work any more. The documents are sent by http and received by an asp website on the other side. The question is: What possibilities do BizTalk and / or Navision and /or Windows 2000 Server offer to implement an asynchronus transfer so that a document can be sent and is not lost when the receiving side is down? Has that something to do with XLANG, which I didn´t use at all until now? Or can it be solved with message queuing? Or both of them? Or something totally different? Everything that has to do with the topic is helpful, so please post! Thank you very much in advance, Christian Harms
