There are fax programs which can recognize special codes in a report. These codes could be a faxno. or a e-mail address. A sample of this code could be: ` [+310123456789] ` The fax programs searched the document for a number bewteen []s in a special font. If it finds this code It will fax the document to the number it has found. Full automaticly. Fax application I know which are able to do this are: QP Fax (Only laatest version is bug free, and not released yet) Unimessage But there are a lot more, I’m sure. If the number is a e-mail, these programs can even converd the document to a tiff file and e-mail is the right address, again full automaticly. I think you have to use a program like this. If you are lucky, you could even find a free program on the internet somewhere!

I don’t know if you want to do this. A Navision report as HTML is a mess… Why do you want to do this?

its more easy, save the report (purchase order) as html and print, isnt it?

no, not really… HTML messes up the layout of you Navision report. The most easy way to fax a Navision report (from developers view) is to print it to a fax-printer driver and enter the faxno. manualy. The most easy way to fax a Navision report from endusers view is to buy the toolkit and fax it with an embedded faxno code. And then there is always the option to print it from Navision and put it in your faxmachine, but that’s not way developers work 😉

i think the you not understand me. The embedded code not require the toolkit, i can do it with normal licence. I create the html with the report, and the code inside. I have it, but now, how can i do for print this o these documents in navision without the print dialog? now, with the Interner explorer API open a windows, load the html and prit it and afer close the window. this system is slow. I need other idea about this. thank for you interest.

Are you sure [;)]? From time to time I think the developers think so. @José I would prefer a In- Navision solution too. bye André

Ok. You can set for each report a printer. Check: Table: ‘Printer Selection’ & UseSystemPrinter in the report properties. Then set in the report properties the UseReqForm = false. Hope this helps. bye André

Hi, It is easy to run the report but print it through a PDF driver. Then the pdf can be sent as an attachment either via email or fax. That way you still get your nice layout, logos etc. that html messes up. The pdf converter we have used is from Amyuni - good product. [www.amyuni.com](http://www.amyuni.com) Rightfax is a product one client of ours has used successfully in the past to fax the pdf files with. Robin

Churchill earns a sigar [;)] Get it, Churchill… sigar… Naaa never mind. José, I don’t think you need to save the report as HTML. This step can be skipped. Just print the report to the fax-printer driver with the embedded code in it. It saves you the step of HTML conversion plus you docuent lay-out will stey intact. Unless… unless, I really don’t understand your situation, in that case… follow the force.

José, Did you ever get the answer you wanted? We use Zetafax but it is a bit “flakey”. We basically create attachments and send an email (using Outlook and Exchange server) to a @fax.local address. The fax.local address was configured so that it nows to send the email through the Zetafax server. Any use? Regards, Tim
