Hi Jose. Have You read the SQL Sizing Guide that was written back in the days of 2.60? You can get it from Your NSC (or I can email it to You. There’s also a lot of postings in the forums here about SQL Performance. You should also consider upgrading Your executables to 3.60. It’s been three years of development put into Navision since 2.60. And a lot of performance issues on SQL has been adressed. /Lars

Could you supply us with some more information about the size of your database and how your storage solution is configured ?

Hey Lars, I was looking for the SQL sizing document last week, and couldn’t find it, any chance you could email it to me? Thanks

Hi all My performance problems are not over they are always felt when i extract info with a report, this thing is driving me mad. Does anyone have an idea?

First of all we need some more details to make sure it isn’t a problem related to HW-setup. After that it normal to look at the code to see if there are modifications that’s not behaving well. - How many users - Size of the database - Other apps on the same server - Network connection for server and clients - Disk configuration on server (RAID-level’s, file placements etc)
