Hi we have a client who is using 2.01A and the question is as follows (copy and Paste from MSN Messenger conversation) … Navision 2.01a ODBC, using policies on PC for security lock down and ODBC driver won’t work unless you log in as Administrator. Giving rights to system32 still does not work. Does anyone know what folders etc need to be given rights in order for the ODBC driver to work ? Operating system is 2000 Pro Thanks
ODBC driver is also using the fin.flf. So you should make sure that you have the permissions to read that file (and also all other Navision ODBC related files). Basically give rights to the folder where the Navision ODBC driver is installed. I guess that should help.
