NAV 2013 service stoped

Hi…

I’m using NAV 2013.

I can’t start my service since today morning. It gives me a timeout error.

In the event viewer it shows me this.

In the event viewer there are warnings since 3.45 AM like this

When I checked the NAV admin tool in the SOAP Services (7047) and in the OData Services(7048)

Enable SSL is checked. (Default it is unchecked).

I cant uncheck it.

I only can disable the Services (SOAP & OData).

I can run the service after I disable the services(SOAP & OData), but web client is not working.

Why is this?

How can I fix this.

hi,

first stop the nav service.

then goto to server where the nav service is installed.
there goto the nav-service directory, e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\Service .
here you’ll find the config file CustomSettings.config. There you change these SSL settings. But you’ll need admin rights to do that.

To change that file open a texteditor in admin mode (run as administrator) and open the file CustomSettings.config.

Search for:
and

set both values to “false”. save the file.
restart the nav service.
