NAV 2013 - Sales Return Receipt and Warranty Date

Does NAV validate the warranty date of the item with serial no. being returned?

Would there be a prompt message error informing that warranty date is no longer valid?

If warranty date is valid for the affected serial no., it will continue processing the return.

I’ve tried doing this in NAV 2013 but it does not validate the warranty date assigned for the affected serial no.

Is this a setup problem or not? Appreciate immediate help and info on this, thanks!
