NAV 2013 - Item Availability by event / timeline

Hi everyone,

I am starting to explore NAV 2013 and it’s new features…
I am confused about the new availability views for an item…
I wonder: what is the difference between availability by event and availability by timeline???
I know the second is a graphical representation while the first is not…but I c’ant see any other difference…

Can anyone help me figure it out???
