Nav 2009 r2 Escape from subform

Hi,

Understand from this post dynamicsuser.net/…/123336.aspx that escape key doesn’t work in a subform which consists of Cancel button.

Is there any solution as I need this to work.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Joan

hi joan,

what do you want to do, what’s your aim?

maybe the answer of kriki in that thread is what you need (no ok/cancel buttons in subform).

Jonathan,

I want the OK and Cancel button to worked, and also able to use esc key to escape from subform as well.

Any solution for this?

Regards,

Joan

to have an ok and/or cancel button in a subform is not nav standard behavior. in that case, if the cursor/the focus is on the subform, the cancel button of the subform catches the esc and the main form is not closed (what is assume, that you want). so it’s better to remove these buttons from the subform.

Jonathan,

Thanks for the explanation, has removed the OK/cancel button and Esc key is now worked.

Thanks.

Joan
