NAS and Recordlocking

I would like to know how the NAS deals with recordlocking. Does it skip a record if it is locked?

Hi Mohana,

the answer is no. It behaves the same way like a normal NAV client - if you only try to read it, nothing happens. If you try to write (and somebody else locked it first), you get the usual “Another user has changed…” message. If you try to lock, you will get the timeout message. All in the event log in this case.
