Hello

Is there any list of the required steps to upgrade the NAV 4.0 SP3 to NAV 2009 SP1?

Also can I have your opinion about this…?

Is better to upgrade first to NAV 5.0 and then to NAV 2009 OR directly to NAV 2009 SP1

Hi Prodromos,

You can get the upgrade toolkit from partnersource, which has the documents also for upgrade process. If you are not a Microsoft Partner then please contact the implementation partner for upgrade.

I believe one should directly upgrade from 4.0 SP3 to NAV2009 SP1, there is no need of doing it in 2 steps.

You do not need to upgrade to 5.0 SP1 before upgrading to 2009 SP1.
