MTO, MTS, PTS items

Hi,

What will be the differences to set up MTO, MTS, and PTS items? I was told mainly in the item coverage, but can’t remember the details. Anyone can give me hints?

Make to Order will be based on the demand/requirement - so set the coverage code as Requirement in Coverage Groups.

For make to stock scenario - set this Min/Max(apply min/max levels to item)

MTS/PTS can also be period, MTO is traditionally requirement. However all can be all depending upon the actual requirements of teh business and how they actually define MTO themselves.
