MRP is not cosidering On-hand stock

Hi Experts,

I am having FG On hand stock=9 Numbers after runing MRP it is throwing planned production order for 9 numbers(It is not considering oh hand )

FG manufacturing lead time 1 day

Raw material lead time is 45 days

Include on hand check box in master planning is selected

Coverage time fence = 365 Days

Postive days = 365 Days

Negative days= 150 Days

Supply and demand mentioned below

Hi,

It will consider your stepups are seems to be correct, but tell how did u run master scheduling only for that item or without selecting any item no in select button.

I am running MRP only for particular item

  1. Sale order lines>Explosion>Update Or

  2. Item>Inquiries>Ner requirement>Update>Master scheduling

That your explosion when you run master scheduling it will consider, try running with out any item you will know the results

We are running MRP for the single item only, We are not going to run for entire plant.

Then check your positive and negative days are lying with in that and coverage group.

Then check for that item details coverage group or item coverage is defined!!!

You cannot run planning for a single item, filtering the run causes many errors, run it for all and see then if it is correct, running it filtered you have to live with the issues.

Hi srini,

I have done reservation of on-hand stock to the sale order through sales line> Inventory>Reservation

After run my MRP for that FG I have not seen any planned prouction order.

To avoid this problem permanently as Adam suggested I think we need to run MRP for the whole plant.
