Is it possible to grant a user access to modify a ledger entry table, e.g. the Job Ledger Entry table (169)? Our client is in a position where they need to alter some memo data on this table via a new form, but although I can do it running the form with my developer license, they cannot do it with their user license. This is despite the user concerned having SUPER and SUPER (DATA) roles. I have also created a new role with permissions to this specific table but with no joy. Many thanks

Its kinda dangerous but you can still control them somewhat. You can create a form and in its properties define permissions for the item ledger. This way you can control add/delete of records and what fields to appear on the form. Even if they have form designer they will not be able to make changes to the compiled form.

Take a look at forms 25/29 and related codeunits. [8D] Anna
