Migrate/move MS Dynamics to new server

We have got MS Dynamics AX 2009 running on windows server2003 . I want to move this AX to server 2012 application virtual environment for provide better performance .

Also does AX 2009 support for SQL 2012 ?

What’s is correct procedure of moving AX 2009?

AX 2009 SP1 with a hotfix is fully compatible with SQL Server 2012. See Announcing Compatibility Certification of SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 SP1 with Dynamics AX 2009 SP1.
