We want to migrate the system to another Data center. We are planning to first create a AX 2012 Feature pack environment with the blank database and then restore the production database.
Please suggest how can we create the new environment? as application and kernel versions are different and there are many hot fixes have been applied on that.
Can we create an Ax 2012 Feature pack with CU3 and all other hot fixes available with existing system and then restore the existing Database?
or
Can we create an Ax 2012 Feature pack with latest CU (or a CU which has number greater than highest available hot fixes) and then restore the existing database to avoid installation of individual hot fixes?
