Hi sir
when i am install Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2009 R2 then installation finished this error is generated and when i open RTC Client then error is the pro-gramme could not a connection to the server .do u want to try again…

Hi Sunil,

Just a couple things you can check:

  • Did you first start the classic client once befor you opened the RTC Client?
  • Did you setup user roles and rights and did you synchronise the logins with SQL?
  • Did you check the config file of the middle tier service?

I remember that I had a similar error first time I installed NAV 2009, and the reason back then was simply that the Windows account running the NAV service didn’t have access to the directory where the NAV service files where stored.

related to services. and service is not started Service
