Has anyone encountered the scenario whereby client would like to change planned order to purchase requisition instead of all the other options? This is Dynamics AX2012

A purchase requisition is not a supply, in planning you have demand and you therefore have a committed supply requirement for internal or external reasons, and therefore a “request” is not necessary. You can stop and report through setting planned orders to approved etc. but you are adding delay into what should be a real requirement for the business to perform (meaning if it was a requisition it should immediately be approved - otherwise you have the wrong people in the planning process)
