Manage incorrect quantity in Production Order

Hi all,

I want to know if Dynamics AX can manage the incorrect quantity in Production Order. Can we designate a storage location for this incorrect quantity.

If you wanted to, but it would allocate costs, you just report as finished in two steps, why do you want to track it in this manner?

i want to reuse it for recycling, and track the production costs

So do two report as finished steps and see how the testing goes.
