NAV 2016. If lot numbers are turned on for an item, are they required? Can some inventory quantity be handled using lots, and other quantity not be lotted?
No they are not. You can configure different “Item Tracking Code” to fit your “rules” and assign them to the appropriate items. In the “CRONUS USA” company the code “FREEENTRY” is an example of a not required lot number.
