i have created a lookup on one of the fields in my form (EDT relation).but as soon as i select a value it does not get assigned to the field.it ges reset.Is there any property that i need to set so that the field takes the value that i selected from the lookup?

Some time it happens - try by restoring the form.
If not delete the field from the design and add it again.
The last one check does there any code exists in the modified,validate methods which is resetting the values…
i tried all the above but nothing seems to be working. [:(]
Then explain what process you have followed???
went to table.
1-defined a new relation to the table from which i need the lookup
2- Dropped the two fields to autolookup group
3-added table to datasource
4-dragged the fields from the datasource to the form.
is there anything else that needs to be done in order to get this working?
