Hi, I have to convert a world wide database 4.0 to UK 4.0 There are lot of modifications in WW database. Please guide me what is the best way to do it. Thanks
There are basically two ways to do this: First (and recommended by Microsoft): Use the Navision Developers Toolkit and Merge the versions. You would need: 4.0W1 with no modifications 4.0UK with no modifications your customized 4.0W1 Second (and recommended by myself): Use a Compare tool like Beyond Compare to merge the two versions. You would need: your customized 4.0W1 a 4.0UK with no modifications. Anyway, for both methods you need good knowledge about Navision and your customizations. You must be able to read and understand the text export format of Navision.
