List of the Master Tables

I’m trying to implement a new company from scratch. For this I proceed as follows: define the functional areas that I need, from the functional areas determine the master tables, and then get the related tables for each of the master tables.

My question is, where can I find a list of all master tables? I know what the functional areas I need are, but not their associated master table. And whilst on the subject, is there a document which would list a description of each and every table in NAV? Just navigating from the names alone isn’t efficient.

Hi Alex,

The answer is no. No such list exists. At least not a complete list officially from Microsoft.

But if you’re using the RapidStart tool in NAV 2013, then you basically get everything you need in regards to both master and setup tables.
