Scenario: For one of my clients expenses are posted with an Employee Dimension to enable finance department to create P&L statements based on each employee. This includes all revenues and expenses related to the employee.
Problem: With this scenario, any member of the finance team will have access to confidential salary information by filtering the GL transactions in the expense accounts to that Employee Dimension.
What we need: Limit the access for the Finance team in these GL Accounts. They should be able to view the net change in these GL Accounts as a whole but not be able to filter it using the Employee Dimension.
