Job Card Bar Codes

Hi,

I’m using Code 39 for my barcodes, I can scan the employee card with no problem, the barcode is read correctly. When I attempt to read the bar code on the job card, the Symbol scanner does not read it at all. I have tried setting different barcode fonts in AX with no luck. Is there size restrictions or specific barcode fonts that must be selected for the Symbol scanner to recognise the barcode? I have setup a barcode under Basic > Setup and have set the barcode I defined in Shop Floor Control > Setup > Paramaters

I found the problem, the field for displaying the job number was not long enough so it was cutting off the end of the job number. I reduced the job number to 7 characters and it resolved the problem.
