Items not for sale

Hi Forum,

Does anyone know of a way to classify an item as a “not for sale” item so it can be used in assemblies but does not appear in the list when adding items lines to a Sales Order?

You may choose to block the item if it is out of production; then it will not be possible to post to the item.

this way u can make sure that item is blocked for sales order… you can still process internal warehouse movements

but if you are using it for production BOM… consumption and output then u may need to customize this…

this is the only answer i have in standard NAV… otherwise u have to customize it
