Item xxx is not on Inventory

My client is experiencing the error “Item RM000039 is not on Inventory” whenever they want to post Transfer order. This is needed to move the Item from Production floor to Raw Material store. The Item in question is a by-product in production that is recycled as part of raw material hence the need to move it to raw material store.

Kindly assist as I have trace the error to codeunit 22 but could not solve the issue. I have check Item availability by location there is enough to do the transfer.

This is not an error. It is in informational message telling you there is not enough inventory available to complete the transaction.

Is this a Transfer shipment or receipt?

It is a transfer shipment.

A transfer shipmt does demand that the item (according to NAV) is available on stock.

The logic is that “you cannot transfer something that you do not have”. If reality is that the item is available, then let NAV have that info [;)]
