We are running Navision 2009 R2 with item tracking on all items. We have a number of LOT IDs where we can split the stock of an item between the different LOT’s. All the items are the same item with no sell by dates. All our items are in two places in the warehouse. When the pick bin is full the remainder of the stock is put in a bulk bin.
The issue is when a pick is raised for a particular LOT and the item tracking has been set to the bulk bin, the pick bin is ignored even though it is the same stock. My question: We want to be able to split the stock to our virtual warehouses or LOT IDs but not when it comes to picking the stock - all picks should use the pick bin first.
item reservations has been put forward instead of using item tracking but now we have it then only way to get rid of it would be to take all stock off, remove it and put the stock on again.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
