i need to make the item reservation from sales order but that should no be blocked the inventory in serial number, batch number, location and the warehouses. It should be from the site level stock. Kindly advice how to do this.

Sorry, i suppose to ask in technical forum.
Any how i am eager to know what is the functionality of lock reservations.
Locked means, no process can change the value of that particular dimension on the reservation.
