Item Requirement Safety Stock

We have recently removed the Coverage Minimum Stock from a purchased item, however master planning appears to continue to generate Planned Orders for the quantity it was previously set to. In the Requirements Profile for the Item, a Planned Order for this quantity is generated which is pegged to ‘Safety Stock’. How is this possible when the Min Stock is now set to zero? Any information gratefully received.

In essence it wont. Can you post a picture of the net requirements and where you set the safety stock to zero?
