Item Purchase in BOX and Sale in Mtr

Hi All,

I have some item which are purchase in BOX and sale in Mtr , how to handle this because due to this my COGS got wrong entry, i have gone through the item card there is Feild in General Tab (Base unit of Measure) and Replenshment Tab (Purch. Unit of Measure)

If i put base unit of measure to MTR

and purch.unit of measure to BOX.

In that case i just want to know , my Costing will be calculted properly or Not , here iam using FIFO method( Navision 2009 SP1).

You have set the conversion factor in Item Unit of Measure table

Hi Amol,

I have define like this in item Card

Base Unit of Measure : BOX
Sales Unit of Measure : MTR
Purch.Unit of Measure : BOX

and item unit of measure

Code Qty.per Unit of Measure
BOX 1
MTR 0.01

Here 1 Box contain 100Mtr.

Costing Method is FIFO.

Is this right method so that i will get correct costing cost.
