Is there a field where I can input an item’s criticality. Generally it is a single letter eg: KLM or something similar.

Not sure about your requirement, but you cn use ABC classification available in item form.

Thanks. I was thinking of that solution if need be.

I am in a mining environment and attempting to make AX work for us.

I will need to read through any documents I can find to ensure our nanual processes can be matched against AX process. Some abilities to process internal sales doesn’t seem to be config’d correctly.
