Issue with asset tracking sheet

My Client has the following requirement!

The client want a fixed asset transfer sheet to track the movement of fixed assets from One department to Another.

My question is : Do I have to customize a sheet that will do that or can i do it with the options available in Fixed assets… Like Fixed Asset transfer!

Any suggestions should be helpful!

Hi Chitanya,

I also have the same issue. Have you found a solution to this?

I think the Lend option of the fixed asset can be useful however there are no Quantity nor Serial Number fields available.

In standard AX, you do have option of transferring assets between financial dimensions. If department is dimension, then that feature can be used.

However, report may need to customize.
