I created an active-x dll in VB 6. when I register it, i cannot see it in the list of components in navision. I created an active-x control and this works fine. This is not what I need though, i’m writing a component that can copy to the clipboard. This cannot be done from a control. Other people talk about dll’s all the time. What am I doing wrong? when you say you cannot see it in the list of components do you mean the custom controls list from the tools menu or the automation object list from the local and global variable form. in my experience dll’s only show up in the automation object list.
i remember i have done something like this with an ocx.!!! Why shouldn’t it work ?! Gayer Rene Projektmanagment NAVIConsult AG
If an active-x dll is made, it should be of type automation in Nav. and not of type OCX… stupid of me huh? Dennis Decoene Navision Developer Top-IT Molenhuisstraat 2a 9800 Deinze Belgium
