I would like to get some thoughts around this with the out of box invoice capture solution , if invoice contains lines with quantity, freight or taxes on the same section i mean pdf document, after capture MS solution not auto populate the freight and taxes fields, need to manual select every time.
Tried to teach the AI model by uploading 10-15 invoices but no luck. Please let us know if needs to customize the model to make it work or any best practice to achieve this would be great help .
We’ve had some success using a large language model instead of a trained model to interpret output from files. You can ask an LLM to review and summarise in (for example) a JSON format that you specify, and then parse those results. I don’t know why your trained model is stuck, but if it’s due to variability of input then an llm may work in this context. Hope this helps, happy to talk!

That’s a common challenge with the out-of-the-box Invoice Capture solution. The AI model often misses freight and tax fields when they appear in the same section as line items.
