Installing BC on Perm Error

Dears, I am trying to install Business Central on Prem version and I got this error, recently I installed the same on another PC running the same Windows and exactly the same brand

This is the error

Hi Mahmoud, I would say it’s just a matter of a too long file path

C:\Users\Mahmoud Elgendi\Desktop\CU Dynamics.365.BC.27233.W1\Dynamics.365.BC.27233.W1.DVD\ServiceTier\program files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\130\Service\Add-ins\Timeline\sr-Latn-RS\Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.UI.WinForms.DataVisualization.Timeline.resources.dll

What I do is move the whole DVD flder one level higher. You could:

  • remove \CU Dynamics.365.BC.27233.W1 folder in between, and/or
  • make at least this folder name shorter, and likewise also \Dynamics.365.BC.27233.W1.DVD
