A field in a table has format control defined by using the AutoFormatType property. In a report, you include the table as a Record variable, and display the field (SourceExpr = Record.Field), the AutoFormatType property of the field is ignored. If the field is a DataItem field, the AutoFormatType property will be used (overriding the DecimalPlaces setting). -jp
