Hi all I don’t know whether this is the correct group to post this question in. But I’ll give it a shot. We have a customer running Navision 2.60 on a SQL server using Citrix as the client part. Normally they don’t have any problems with CPU usage. But from time to time just one single user can use 50% of the CPU. And the user simply doesn’t do anything. His session has activated the form 92 “Job Ledger Entries”(and a flowfield is in focus). And after some time this single user session eats 50% CPU. What could cause this CPU usage? Do I need to adjust any key or filter settings within Navision? Or is it a SQL Server issue? Any help is appreciated. Regards Michael
I remember s simular situation. It was on NF 2.01 runing on Navision database server. In some table (this it was Wendor) i added i new flowfield (sum), but becouse another developer deleted key in Wendor leger entry table, NF have to sum records instead of useing SIFT. Sever had a large cache, so whole table fit in it. When runing form or table contaning this new flowfiled, server got 100% CPU busy. Adding key into table solved the problem. regards Bostjan
I’ve seen this behaviour on Citrix when a tooltip was shown to a user. Think this was solved in a fix from Citrix.
in most cases it is the tooltip-phenomenon. you will find some topics when searching for: citrix; cpu usage e.g. in this forum … it should be fixed in navision 3.7 !
