Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me what will happen if I export a project WITH ID VALUES from one instance of AX and try to upload the same in another insatnce of AX?

If same ID values are already present in another instance, then, will it create any conflict or it will simply override with new ID values?

Please explain in detail all scenarios with respect to these questions.

Hi,

You can’t import an object if the id already exists, you’ll have an error message and the import will be cancelled. If you have ids conflicts, import your object without id, AX will create a new id and reimport this object(with the new id) in the other environnements, this will allow you to avoid ids differences between environnements.
