I’m testing out new areas and one aspect of using Navision is …is it possible to import huge territories of data from Navision into Access. I tried a copy and paste and was told ‘The text is too long to be edited’…that I’m the test pilot so to speak in that we have 20 Navision users here and some workers are curious as to the potential of using Navision imported into other databases. I am not familiar with Access, but would guess that it is seeing the paste as one long text string rather than a set of records Alternatives - Export the data to a file from Navision using “Dataports”, then import the file into Access or Import the data into Access using a Navision ODBC connection
