What and how are you importing? Are you using AX data import feature, Data Import/Export Framework, Excel add-in, a third-party solution, a custom job or what? What’s your version of AX?
Hi , I am importing through a custom class, it imports sucessfully but if validation fail i use to throw error, but it hang at this point. I thing Ax remain holding the excel (don’t know if 100% correct ). So i want to do a force release of that file through code after throw error() .

And what’s the version of AX? Please always add a tag with the version - there are many differences between AX versions.
