some time ago I heard from a Developer that there was another upgrade toolkit that tells you how much customization your DB had and how much time it was required to change it. does it ring a bell for you guys? and where can I get this wonderful piece of software? {I just want to upgrade a client and I want to know how much Custom. they did before before hand} thanx in advance[:D]
He was probably referring to the Impuls Workbench which had a great feature that would show the %changed of an object to the original. I believe that this tool is out of date and replaced by the current Developers toolkit though.
That is correct. The official name is Navision Developer’s Toolkit, and the current version is 1.04.

Hallo Mathieu, The NDT (Navision Developer’s Toolkit)1.04 is a further development of the Impulse Workbench. I worked with the Impulse Workbench and now i use NDT 1.03. Soon i will try NDT 1.04 with some of my project databases. The Impulse Workbench worked with text-exports until Fin 2.60. NDT 1.03 works with text-exports up to Attain 3.70 and is much faster. A 60 MB text-export needs 15 min to import. best regards Josef Metz
